im sorry i cant remember if i have posted about this before, my brain gets foggy so if i did please excuse me.

as my neuro cant make the clear dx of MS at this point he is willing to help me with symptom management. he gave me klonopin to help me with my tremors but it isnt working. i think part of it might be becasue i coincidently am on the same med for anxiety attacks and have been for awhile so maybe im jsut used to it? but either way it doesnt work. on monday im going to call his office and see if he has another answer.

does anyone take meds specifically to treat tremors? what do you take and how do they help?

Hi bunny i have ms tremors as well. i was on keppra now myscoline and i still shake. I think it is just a part of the illness that we need to learn how to cope with..I found straws to be helpful with liquids..pokey79

Muscle relaxers have helped me with the hand tremors some, I take them for RLS, cramps in legs and abdomen, Degenerative Disc Disease, etc. But some days my hands tremor no matter how many muscle relaxers I take.

BTW- I use soma, only muscle relaxant that has helped me at all.

Hi Bunny -

I have tremors quite often, but my nerve pain medication has helped ALOT.  I use neurontin for my nerve pain, the weird thing about this is a side effect of neurontin is tremors, but in my case, it calmed mine down.  I still have them, but they are not as frequent as before.  Maybe ask about neurontin.
