I was diagnosed with Type I Diabetes on my 31st birthday.  Then hypo thyroid on my 32nd.  Then Tumefactive MS on my 34th.  Anyone else out there that has had anything similar?  I would love to chat and find out wht type of therapys you are on.

Hi, welcome to the forum.

I'd never heard of Tumafactive MS before...here is one website that describes it:

I'd have to figure out exactly what they mean by that: from a brief reading of the website it appears to describe what I've always known just as relapsing-remitting MS, but maybe you have been told the difference and can explain it to us?

I think you'll find several people here who have been diagnosed with multiple autoimmune diseases. Unfortunately it seems like that happens a lot -- you get one, and others follow. But not always: I have MS, and only MS, although other autoimmune diseases do occur in my family.

I also want to welcome you to the board.  Thanks for posting.  I haven't heard of Tumafactive MS either.  I have been diagnosed with just one other autoimmune disease.  It was several years before MS.  I was diagnosed with a skin disease called granuloma annulare.  It causes a problem with the collagen between the layers of skin.  It causes an unsightly rash that is completely harmless.  It is usually not treated.  It is considered a marker for RA.  I was promptly tested for RA but I had a negative titer for it.  Interestingly enough, about six months after starting copaxone for my MS, the rash completely disappeared and has yet to return.  Also I now test positive for the RA titer but I have no symptoms of RA.  The body is both fascinating and complicated!

I had really bad ulcerative colitis in my 20's.  My colon was removed and I have an ileostomy.  That cured the UC.  I was diagnosed with MS tenatively in my 30's and diffinitively in my 40's.  I have recently been diagnosed with interstitial cystitis of the bladder.  All of these are considered autoimmune diseases.  I hope I'm done.

I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in 2004.I was diagnosed with Primary Progressive MS in 2012.
And in between those two I got diagnosed with Osteopirosis 2008 and I was told I have G.E.R.D(gastro-intestinal reflux disease).I also found out when having the spinal tap,that my arthritis is Osteoarthritis.Stands to reason.Last year I was diagnosed with Emphysema.And a couple of months ago I was told I have 3 spots on my lungs that are growing and a concern.Being sent to a specialist.Neuropathic pain really sucks,just as much as Arthritic pain.By using medical cannabis I have pretty much kept my Crohn's and MS nausea at bay.Blockages is the most intense pain,I have had quite a few of them.4 feet of small intestine has been removed.Also a huge chunk of my anus has been removed.MS has put me in a wheelchair.I can take a couple of steps and that's it.When I fall,I can't get up.Had to call hospital 6 times since January to aid me after I fall.I had to put my name in for a home,and I am only 54.My numbness or 'bands' as some people call it,is all the way up to my breast(my nipples really hurt).When I get really tired the numbness goes all the way up to the top of my head.
