What are the statistics regarding average mortality for people with MS?

The most recent I've seen is that the life expectancy is 95% that of people without a chronic illness.

 If I remember my statistics correctly and if I have read that link correctly, that means on AVERAGE people with MS live to 95% of typical.  To me that means that most people with MS live to a typical age.  A few people die from complications from MS and those few are averaged in statistically.

Great attitude!

2008 can be a year where things of 2007 have no more fear to them as they are now better understood. Each day we all have in life-irregardless of disease or total health is a gift. To live each day as it is not just your last but a special gift with many surprises therein is an exciting thing to me.

I've seen many miracles first hand and I hope to see many more!
