got my mri results yesterday as did neuro. here are some of the findings: "on previous study, there was a diffusion abnormality involving the right thalamus....this has resolved. Current study demonstrates no diffusion abnormalities.... no significant change in the white matter lesions consistent with ms... NO NEW LESIONS!.. no enhancing lesions. mild atrophy... marked imp[rovement in the left maxillary sinusitis.
more medical language, but all in all, it appears that just maybe ivig is helping! see neuro next week and will ask about
pains, etc. linda

Seems that things are at least stabilizing! That's really good news.

WOW is the word! i'm very glad the result was far better than i expected. neuro recently increased ivig drips (two days twice a month) and didn't know what to expect. i still have some pains, but i expect that's just part of ms. at least it is stabilized. linda
