MRI and colonoscopy in one week

Just thought I would update you all that I had my colonoscopy on Wednesday and my MRI today (Friday).  I woke up during the colonoscopy; I would not recommend it. eyes   Ouch! mad I ended up having 3 polyps removed and the doctor said that he thought that one of them looked pre cancerous.  So now I get to wait for up to 2 weeks for the pathology report.  I also ended up having major muscle spasms/cramps in my legs the day before the procedure while I was doing the prep.  So that may be something those of you that have MS and spasticity may want to address with your own doctors if you are ever lucky enough to have this procedure.

The MRI today was uneventful.  I do not have an appt with my neuro until June 24th, but I will try to find out the results before then.

We are under a tornado watch for the next several hours here in Illinois.

WOW...be careful friend...i hate tornados! Yeah ouch! on the wake up! I woke up during my first one and they QUICKLY put me back out! I don't remember feeling anything tho...thank God! I truely hope and pray the pathology comes back clear and u will have nothing to worry about. Please do let us know how that goes and how u'r feeling.

I"m so glad the MRI process turned out well. June 24th seems like a long time to wait...but hopefully it'll pass quickly for u. I hate waiting and always get the reports as soon as they're avail...the promptly dx myself! <tisk tisk tisk> Try to just relax and not worry...i know that's a tall order...and know we're all here in u'r corner.

Hi Barb,

Sorry i missed this post. I sincerely hope that every thing works out for the best, and i am sure it will. Been really busy this past week, so i haven't been on. Ughh about the waking up before your test was over. Yikes.

hey Barb,

You have the worst times with these things.  I hope you are resting easy and feeling all right.  Now you wait.  That, to me, is the worst part.  I hope you get all good news.  We will be waiting right here with you. Take good care.
