Hey guys,

Does anyone get strange tummy spasms?   The pain is almost in the center of the tummy...I also get pains in the back area by the ribs but not on the ribs.  This is not the first time I have had these pains but they seem to be worse.  Last bloodwork was fine do not think it is that.....I am wondering if I have some irrritable bowel issues...I looked up some stuff and to be honest it is uncomfortable but really do not want to start another process going to more dr's cant take anymore of that right now.  Just wondering what it could be and if anyone here has tummy issues.  I am in more pain nowadays which is controlled with pain meds just ache really bad all over and it interferes with my life on top of everything else.  Tried to sleep today this afternoon but muscles twitched so much it kept me awake.....good gracious it has got to end soon!

I have IBS and don't really have regular stomach pain. I do get cramps and aches, but not like a spasm and not in the area u'r describing (ribs). I've not had the ms hug before, so don't know if that's what u'r having, but maybe worth asking u'r neuro about at next visit. Take care.

Thank you. I will:) wondering if all the years on antibiotics might have taken their toll or if it is something else.... really really am over going to docs but will ask the nruro next time :)

I do get stomach pain. Where you described and over on the right under my ribs. It was so bad for awhile and I didn't think MS and neither did the docs. So I went to specialists and got scoped every which way and nothing to see. Tried some meds and no help. It might be some IBS, but actually I think I finally figured out it is my version of the MS Hug. Good thinking Rhonda. It took me way too long to figure out. It hurts more if I press on the spots and helps when I take something for muscle spasms. And tends to be worse when other things are flaring up. So I do believe it is MS related. Also it is better now that I am not doing injections in my stomach. Willow
