I really don't know how else to describe this. When I think of muscle spasms, I think they last for a little bit. Or I certainly have muscles in my right arm that have more chronic spasticity.
And I know twitches...like the one I get in my lower right eyelid that lasts for months.
But lately I have been getting this sensation of, well, like popcorn popping around in my body. I suppose they are twitches. I just tried to nap and for 40 minutes late there like jiffy pop. And thought of the post by Odettesmom and wondered if it is the heat? But it only got to 80 today and I didn't feel horribly overheated. It's cooled down to 70 now. But I'll get one in my forearm, bicep, left glute, right calf, left bicep, stomach, etc. Just popping all around like crazy. They don't cramp and they don't keep going in one spot.
Any other twitchy folks out there have suggestions? I have started a walking program and have done 1 mile for 6 nights in a row now. Maybe the increased activity. Thanks- it's just good to have somewhere to put this stuff out there because my family has to be tired of hearing every new thing that "pops" up. Willow
