I’m not sure what your specific results mean, but just wanted to add that even something as “benign” as Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) is frequently associated with several forms of nystagmus. Check out this article for more info: http://www.emedicine.com/ent/TOPIC761.HTM
BPPV was my initial diagnosis, in spite of the fact that my vertigo was not positional. Only later, after additional symptoms developed, I had an abnormal MRI, etc etc, was my vertigo blamed on a lesion in my cerebellum. This lesion was visible on the MRI.
I’m in no way saying you have BPPV, of course, but just wanted to throw another option out there….something that is not as serious, so to speak. Hang in there, and take this diagnosis process one step at a time. I know it’s hard not to stress, but try not to jump to the worst conclusions without proof you need to go there. I do know vertigo is a miserable thing, and hope you feel better very soon!
