I don't know if i can answer u'r question correctly, but as far as i'm aware the optic nerve is where u'r prob would lie if u'r vision is affected. I'm glad u'r doc is referring u to an eye doc. Any eye doc should be able to tell u if there is an issue with u'r optic nerve, but for that matter, u'r neuro should also be able to. Hang in there friend and please let us know how u'r appt goes.

Although I have just been recently diagnosed one of the very first sysmptoms I had was blurred vision, double vision and rapid eye movement, which wa svery frightening.

I was given a drug called Beta Histine, which is intially for Vertigo, but apparently this drug also helps with vision problems.

I hope this helps, worth a try.
