MS vs Lyme

Hello to everyone.....I often hear that there are alarming similarities between MS and Lyme......can anyone tell me what the differences are between the two diseases?  There must be some symptoms that makes one stand out more than the other.....I have also posted on the Lyme forum as well....

Leave it to you to open this can of worms!!!  (just kidding)  There are amazing similarities but you won't find many here that will discuss it openly.  We have had some very ugly exchanges here (in the past) when some came on to say that MS does not actually exist and that it is actually just a symptom of chronic neuro lyme.  So don't get your feelings hurt if no one much responds here.  The lyme board here at healingwell is extremely helpful and will give you lots of info.

Good morning, and well, oh! Didn't know this.....and yes, if there is anyone out there to stir the pot, if there is one, pick me pick me.

Its just that there has to be something that separates the two - I guess I will just dig in and do my own research on this - and see what I can come up with....

Wish me well - and yes, ihave been feeling pretty darn good. I'm always waiting for the big crash, but it has been a year, and nothing yet - other than some insignificant things!!!

Hi there, you are right no posts.....mmmmmm - well I have recieved many on the Lyme forum, and after reading these etc I am starting to see where they are some differences between Lyme and MS.....I am going to dig into this quite abit further, as it is just in me to find out.....

i was hoping to fine out if there was a way to tell them apart. i was bitten and treated for lyme 25 yrs ago, recently(maybe 5 yrs) i've had neuro and muscular symptoms. my drs. say the treatment that works will determine what disease i have. most of the info i've found is conflicting. have you found anyhing definitive?
