Blood work done

Ok my neuro had some more blood work done before my opp on my arm for CTS and to more the nerve over in my elbow (left arm) later the right arm and found that I'm way low on my B12 and now been taking shots for this and has order up more MRI's of my back and of the Brian

I guess I'm kind of wondering if there maybe some condition related to the two MS and B12 and my neuro is concerned about why I had lost the ability to talk earlier this summer for a few hours (CT scan showed no stroke) but for the life of me all I could do was talk gibberish

Any help on this, as from reading about B12 and MS there maybe some condition related

Hey freezinginAK,

You have asked a great question. There is a bit of a controversy here. Some seem to think that a deficiency in B12 can be misdiagnosed as MS. This deficiency is called pernicious amenia. Others think it is an oft seen syndrome that goes with MS. The link below might give you more info. Good luck and keep us posted.
