Hey Jerrehow,
I am hoping the steroids help your symptoms some. Sometimes it takes a few weeks after the infusion to feel a difference. Sometimes those symptoms are there for good. My feet are pretty much completely numb. I have had that now for a year and a half. I am thinking I am stuck with that symptom. I know new symptoms are very very troublesome. It took me a long time to get used to my new feet but for the most part, I don't think about it any more. If you are stuck with pins and needles in your right hand, you will get used to it.
Please understand that the Rebif may slow down the progression of MS for you but it will not help with the pins and needles. Non of the current treatments for MS progression treat symptoms. You may want to talk to your doctor about a specific medication that will treat the symptoms in your hand. What you have is nerve pain. You can try lyrica or perhaps neurontin.
Good luck and let us know how you are doing.
