New to site, first post and could use some help

Hello everyone. My name is Scott Williams. I am 43, from San Jose Calif. Last year I was DXed with MS after several attacks and lots of test. I have been extremely lucky in that I have a good medical plan and see some of the top MS doctors at Stanford. Most of all I have an awsome wife who supports me 100%. Last April I had an attack that put me out of work for five months. Up until then I hadn’t missed a day of work due to illness in over ten years. I am back full time and doing much better. Still trying to manage with the side effects of meds, but thats has improved too. I have always been a little private about things and only got into myspace because my wife needed some members for her mob on "Mobsters". Now I am using it and the internet to ask for help. Not for me, but for all those like us who suffer everyday from this unfortunate thing they call MS. My wife has set up a team for the MS walk in San Jose this next Saturday, April 18th, 2009 and are looking for anyone willing to make a small donation to our team. My wife does not Know that I am posting this and would be shocked if she knew that I was on the computer for this reason. But I love her with all my heart and want her to see that I am with her on this. If I got even one donation from this post, then I was well worth the time and effort. Hey Scott,

I am very glad to meet you. I am so sorry that I had to delete your request for fundraising money. It is against the rules to ask for money even for non-profit organizations. Many of us walk or fundraise for the MS Society and we are very glad to see someone else doing the same. Also, I would like to recommend that you place your email in your profile. You are leaving yourself wide open for random spam if you leave it out.

It is nice to hear about someone surviving this disease. Your wife sounds exceptional. A good support system is such a huge way to survive this disease. I hope you post often and let us get to know you.
