Sorry, I haven't been around much.
I have been dealing with some major pain and spasms in my back. My back has been aching for several months off and on, but now it is 24/7, with frequent spasms. When I lower my chin to my neck, I am not experiencing a shock sensation, but I do feel sharp spasms (gasp) in my left, lower back. (So I quit trying that ) So I wonder if what I am experiencing is L'hermittes. And if so, does it go away? Please tell me yes.
I went to my pcp and she prescribed soma (muscle relaxant instead of baclofen) and vicodin. Well, I took those for two days, but I was way too "loopy" when I was on them. So I went back to my baclofen today, even though I am not sure if it has ever helped. I also took some advil even though I have had problems with anti -- inflammatories in the past (ulcers). I was able to make an appointment to see my regular neuro next Thursday. The nurse did say that if the soma did not work, we could consider upping my baclofen. So, I may try taking an extra one tonight.
I missed school for the past two days, but made it through classes today.
Basically, I am just an umcomfortable mess right now.
