I think it better to just tell you what I have experienced and not whether or not I think you have MS. My presenting symptom was vertigo which over a period of about
three weeks became debilitating. I ended up in the hospital since I could not longer balance well enough to walk. I have near total numbness from the middle of my shins down. I have visual problems; I have trouble tracking with my eyes. I can cause difficulty reading small print. I have spasticity in my left leg. I have nerve dysfunction in my left leg. I have bladder and bowel difficulties. I have concentration and mental alert
ness problems. And I still have the vertigo and balance issues.
My symptoms do not come and go. They are with me all of the time. I know that some here have symptoms that come and go but most don't. Once the brain or spinal cord is damaged those are the things you deal with.
Try not to worry although I know it is hard not to. If it does turn out to be MS, it is a disease you can learn to live with. It can be difficult, but I find it reassuring to know it is not fatal.
