What does my MRI mean?

The docotr told me it was normal but then sends me to a specialist. the referral says they found scattered punctate nonspecific foci within subcortical white matter. i don't know what it means. they must be trying to baby me because i have a mental health diagnosis. it is freaking me out cuz they aren't telling me what is happening to me. but perhaps this punctate stuff is normal. i don't know. but when a doctor calls to give you the results of a urine test you never took, you know somethings wrong. i don't get it. just scared. maybe someone here knows. I tried to gooogle an answer, but was unsuccessful. have an appointment in 3 months with neurologist. my doctor puts in writing to call and get no their cancellation list so i can get in asap. why? why not make me wait like they always have? what are they not telling me? im sorry if im freaking out too much, and maybe over nothing. if anyone knows what this means maybe you can help. but my headaches are very severe.nothing seems to touch them anymore. oh well.
