I just was wondering if anyone ever has the feeling they just drank about 20 cups of coffee? I get these feeling soooooo bad, almost like I have a nervousness. It feels as though I am shaking but I'm not. It seems like it is on the inside but not showing on the outside. I am not diagnosed as of yet, but just something else to tell the dr...thanks again,love this site...

Hey Beanie,

It is good to see you again.  It has been a while.  I get the exact opposite.  I usually drag around in need of coffee.  I have a bit of that old MS fatigue.  Good luck with your quest for answers.  What is the doctor saying these days?

Thanks Gretchen, I still have very much fatigue, this is something that is just so weird. The feeling is on the inside as though i am shaking on the outside. I hold my hand out but its not shaking. When I go to pick something up it feels as though I have to concentrate on getting it,yet I am not shaking. I drink decaf so its not like Im pumped up on caffiene. I just think it is such a weird feeling. I also wanted to tell you that I wake up in the  morning and my right eye opens up late, does that make any sense. My husband tells me I am one of a kind..haha...thanks again Beannie

Huh, that eye deal is weird.  What does the doctor say about that?  I have never heard of that before.  Sounds very annoying!!

Yes! I know exactly what you are talking about. I get it all the time and it is a very uncomfortable feeling. I haven't talked to my doctor about it- so many symptoms, so little time. :) It actually happened to me a few times over a two year span before my regular MS symptoms started, now it happens several times a week. Sorry I can't tell you anything helpful except...you are not alone. :)

thanks diana, I appreciate that so much....It doesnt happen to me everynight. It is about maybe 3 times a week. Sometimes I take my finger and actually pull my eye open. I know what you mean about so many symptoms, I never know if it has anything to do with the other. Oh well, I just keep plugging along with a smile on my face....thanks again Beannie

hey beannie, i get it too, i hate it, it tends to happen when im more fatigued, im jumpy and shaky, not hyper tho, usually tired, it goes away if i lay down and take a nap........not that its always possible to do.....my eyes are just jumpy tho, they open at the same time

I AM NEW TO THIS...VISUALLY IMPAIRED WITH M.S. BUT TRYING. I GET THAT INSIDE NERVOUSNESS AND ALWAYS WONDERED IF ANYONE ELSE DID. IT HELPED WHEN I STARTED GETTING B 12 SHOTS. MY B12 WAS BORDERLINE LOW AND MY DOCTOR STARTED ME ON B 12 SHOTS. IT HELPED. I STILL WAKE UP WITH SOME NERVOUSNESS BUT IT GOES AWAY WHEN I GET UP.

Thanks so much everyone. It is such a strange feeling, the nervousness. I feel as though I has too much coffee yet i could take a nap at any moment. I was trying to explain it to my mom but I just dont think she can understand what it is like. She told me not to drink coffee or soda, well I am not a coffee drinker, maybe once in awhile and I drink decaf tea and no soda I drink water all the time. It just seems frustrating all these little things that you think no one else has had and you log on to this site and low and behold someone else is out there. Hi Wickie, I feel the nervousness kind of in my arms and hands, but have an all over feeling with it. I do get the squeezing in my diaphram, I guess thats what they call the hug. That is very scary, I have been to emergency with that thinking I was having a heart attack. I have been having many muscle twitches lately and I'm not sure if thats why I feel this nervousness or not...oh well thanks for responding...take care...and keep smiling...Beannie

I also get this, i describe it as I feel like a vibrator is on inside my body. Sometimes there is a fine tremor in my hands but usually you can not see it but boy can I feel it. Thanks for making yet another symptoms not just in my mind.

I describe the vibrating like my phone is in my pocket on vibrate, but when I search for it, the feeling is inside. Weird feeling. I'm so glad I'm not the only one who's felt that.

I get that same phone feeling--drives me nuts. As for the coffee feeling, its been really hot here, the other day i drank 3 coffee with double shots of expresso and 2 cups of cola and still almost fell asleep driving--cant handle it...........the catch--i have no diagnosis :(.... going to a ms specialtist coming up here soon

I just know if something really wierd happens it is MS. I try not to worry about it and then it usually goes away.

    BE THANKFUL. IT GET'S WOURSE THE LONGER YOU HAVE IT. BUT FATITGUE. SORRY about THE SP. MY KEYBOARD IS SCREWING UP FOR SOME REASON.

I do not know about that. I have had MS for 50 years and have been SPMS for 15 but, for me, it still comes and goes. MS seems to be different for everyone. A couple of years ago I was so bad I did not know how to continue. Then I got a pump that really helped the pain and spasticity and then I started low dose naltrexone and now I am better than I have been for years. I really believe in looking for the positives wink

Hey, this sounds really familiar. Mostly in my upper legs. In fact, I thought my cell phone was vibrating in my pocket, but when I looked it wasn't there. The vibrating feeling was inside me. I felt kind of like this all over after a solumedrol infusion for an optic neuritis flare. Very strange.
