Stepping down as moderator.

Hi everyone.  After a lot of thought, I have decided to step down as moderator.  It has been a wonderful experience moderating this amazing board, but I am off to do other things!  I will be around as a member.  I may be here a bit less, however. 

I wish you all the best of luck.  I am very very glad to know you all.  If you are interested in being a moderator, you just need to email Peter at [email protected].  He will consider all applicants.  You just need to have an interest and a willingness to be supportive.  You don't necessarily need a diagnosis of MS.

Dear Gretchen

While you have indicated from time to time that you may be leaving, your message today came as a bit of a shock. Mainly, because I have gotten used to reading your frienly words on regular basis. The word we live in today and the turbulations a person goes through tends to make one slightly jaded and cynical, at least, it has done that to me. However, your unfailing enthusiasm, somehow was a reassurance of the fact that the simple joys still exist.

Though we had a very short association, it has been a valuable one for me. My confidence in the goodness of people has got affirmed after my interactions with you. Wish you all the best for whatever you do in life. We are definitely going to miss your advice. By the way, I do not suffer from MS myself, but used to enjoy your supportive and caring messages.

Thank you for all the warmth and goodwill you have imparted during your tenure here.
