I have to laugh at all the Anti-CCSVi people saying the liberation procedure is dangerous and can kill you. Angioplasty has been around since the 1960's and is used EVERYDAY. It has all the same dangers as the rest.
Below is a link to a video on what a Interventional Radiology does and can do.

Please don't laugh at people saying the Liberation procedure is dangerous and could kill you, not unless you have concrete proof that the procedure is safe. I can say with certainty that it is dangerous and can kill you because in my case it would and that information comes straight from my neuro. This procedure is not new by the way, it was called Marie Tooth Charcot ages ago and was part of my studies in my chosen field.
The prodecure itself might not be dangerous but what no one seems to ever mention is the isotope dyes that they need to inject to do the procedure. This is the dangerous part. Saying this I must add that it isn't dangerous to everyone but to those who cannot tolerate the dyes.
I found out the hard way that those dyes were not meant for me when I had a CT years ago. Nobody bothered checking if I could be allergic to the dyes. As it turned out I was severely allergic and the last thing I remember is trying to tell someone I felt ill. To make a long story short I flat lined almost immediately. Long details, not necessary to go into them but they were able to "bring me back" .
So, for anyone allergic or having a reaction to the dyes it is impossible to get the treatment. If I hadn't had the previous experienced and rushed out to have the procedure done I would never have survived because the dyes are injected so close to the brain itself.
I say if someone is looking into this treatment be aware and please get tested to see your reaction to isotope dyes.
