Since it is mild, you just learn to deal with it. I don't have it too much when sitting or lying down unless I move my head real fast. While standing and walking, I do have the constant sensation that I am on something that is moving or swaying a little. My body thinks it has to constantly adjust to this movement. I do better if I lean against something solid like a counter, table, wall or couch etc.
When the vertigo is bad, I will get nauseous. Ginger can help with that. The doctor has perscribed meclizine with valium if I am vomiting. I only use it if things are really bad because all I do is sleep on it.........better than barfing!
I feel blessed that I am not worse off. I can walk well; I have strong legs, I just have to watch the balance. I can also see pretty well.
