Does anyone have these symtoms?

#1: I'm having twitching at night in different parts of my body, sometime my whole body will jerk, What is that?

# 2: Pains in the back of the eye?

# 3: Burning heat senation and tingling on feet?

# 4: Numbness tingling and pain in face?

# 5: Pains in the shin in legs?

# 6: Chest pains, aches?

# 7: Pains in the legs like charlie horse, almost to the point to stop walking.


I would appreciate anyones input, Im not sure what all this is coming from.. Thanks so much! D

I have had most of the symptoms you describe (and more). I thought I had MS and have had the million dollar workup at UCSF and all tests for MS came back negative. My brain MRI however showed 20 small and scattered lesions not typical for MS.

Turns out, I have Lyme disease which closely mimics MS so you might want to consider being tested. You can have Lyme and not even realize that you've been bitten by a tick. However, to be tested, call Igenex (google their #) and they will overnight you a test kit. You will have to get signed by your doctor but that is the only reliable lyme testing place. Regular labs to not test properly for Lyme.

I've just started treatment and in my case, I think I've had Lyme for many years but it did not become active until I had my gallbladder out. My symptoms started shortly after my surgery along with MAJOR ANXIETY, twitching, vibrating feelings, tingling, foot pain, you name it.... Many of my symptoms have eased however, I'm glad to finally know what I have and be treated for it because without treatment, it just gets worse.

sounds auto immune. possible Lou Gehrigs. (Sp) I have SLE lupus i have many of the symptoms but i have several other problems. I would start with MRI of brain, spinal tap those tend to be the best ways to rule out or rule in auto immune. They are not easy to diagnose. I have a guy i grew up with and know a few people with ms they don't have a lot of pain not even in the beginning. It sounds more neurological to me. but i am not a Dr.

I will be thinking of you and hope that you are able to get a correct DX soon. It is frustrating not knowing. Have you ever had any damage to your spine? just thoughts.
