I'm with Nay...
Having a great Nuero is essential. Usually when I go in and talk about my symptoms, it's not that he doesn't believe me, it's just that this disease is so unpredictable and no person goes through the exact same thing. So when I look for him for validation he usually gives me a vague answer but tells me how well I'm doing in all other areas. I kind of think of it as him not wanting to blow smoke up my you know what.
I noticed that you were very recently diagnosed. I have been diagnosed for 2 years and it probably took until a year and a half to stop worrying about every tingling, painful thing in my body. Your body is an amazing masterpiece. Your brain is a genius. Trust that. Keep telling yourself "this is only temporary" when you are under attack.
I can also appreciate your fear of driving. I went blind in both eyes at different times. My sight is forever ruined. I'm constantly worried that I'm not going to see a biker, or construction, or it's going to start down pouring.....I totally get it. However, life must go on, I must get to work, etc. Just keep fighting that fear....because in the end....it's a lie.
Hope this helps a little!
