Hi All.
I am a 28 year old male. Three weeks ago I had some disconcerting symptoms begin. I was taking 10mg of Lisinopril daily, 60mg Addderall, 5mg Lexapro, 1,000mg Cyprofloxacin at the time of onset. I began having temporal headaches as well as ones on the back of my head. Confusion. Head and face would go numb while working out. I have now experienced the onset of peritheal neuropathy....tingling in hands and feet. Trembling on my left foot. At times I can feel my pulse throughout my entire body. Had a weekend of extreme depression which was out of character. I do have a history of reltaively mild anxiety and can make mountains out of mole hills as they say on occasion, but never like this.
I have two Aunts with MS, both on my Father's side. One with severe MS and another with a very mild case.
This is not the first time I have experienced the tingling in hands and feet. I had it 18 months ago and as it went away I attributed it to running too much as I was running 6 miles a day and was 240 pounds at the time.
Took some old Prednisone I had in the cabinet and it gave me the first two nights of solid sleep I've had in weeks. One must bear in mind that I am not always successful in pinpointing if a medicine is responsible for changes in symptoms.
I went to ER after my entire head went numb the other night during heavy cario. CT scan was clear. I originally linked these symptoms to my BP meds and have been off for a week. Just switched to an ARB inhibitor today for my BP. I have to wait 3 weeks to get into a neurologist. Will be attempting to pay a $500 cash "Christmas bonus" to a secretary who can get me into a neurologist sooner. We'll see if I am met with success.
Thanks so much and Happy Holidays!
