I was finally diagnosed a year ago after not being well since I was a teen. Just got off Betaserone and dr has prescribed Tysabri and Ampyra. I am very apprehensive about
both of these. Any personal experience with them? Thanks

i am on both ampyra and tysabri...the tysabri has really helped....however they do a test for the jc virus which i tested positive for..which means your risk for the pml infection increases...while the a b c r drugs slow progression by 30 % the oral gylenya and bg12 by 50 % tysabri is 70%...the dr. will moniter you closely with more frequent mri's....i havent had any problems with ampyra....listen to what your doc. thinks is best for you then make your decision..best of luck to you.........
