I was arrested for having ms

I was arrested 3 years ago for a dui (I don't even drink), cop lied on the stand, but point being I have MS and can not help if I walk drunk and can not walk a straight line, blood tests even showd that there were no drugs in my system, but this sorry county will not have mercy on me. Can someone please put a meek damsel in distress in the right direction?

I think its too late to sue but you can check your states statute of limitations to see how long after the fact you would be able to. I would try to sue also. Any lawyer in your state could tell you if it is still feasible.

Hi, this is my first time posting on this forum. My husband was diagnosed with ALS. I don't know why they don't have a forum for this disease..kinda strange. Anyway, that is horrible what happened to you thatkimgirl. I agree with Twiggs...check the Statute of Limitations. Also, I am thinking - could be wrong - even if it's over the time allowed, maybe you can still sue being that you have a medical condition. They might make exceptions for that. My husband has a hard time working with his fingers and for the first time in his life got a lower expectation score at work...even though they know he has this disease. They don't want him to leave on disability though.

My mother's second cousin (as well as his brother and father) have Huntington's Disease.

He was the first to become ill, and they had no previous knowledge of the disease in the family.

He became symptomatic as a teenager, and his mom and dad believed for a long time that he was on drugs.

His speech was slurred and slow, he staggered about with balance issues, and had rages...all classic symptoms of substance abuse...or of course a disease of the nervous system.

I feel for you, and do think that you should seek legal counsel in this situation.
