Hi and apologies for my English since it's not my mother language.
I am male 35 years old. After a migraine i went to get a brain MRI 3 years ago. Result: A few nonspecific non enhancing white matter lesions...
Every doctor i visited suggested that this shouldnt be MS.
Still i had some strange symptoms with numbness on the right side of face.
Since then i have done 2 more brain MRI's and 1 spinal cord.
The spinal cord was normal and the Brain MRI's had exactly the same results as the initial one 3 years ago...
Every doctor who examined me (i went to a lot) keeps saying that i should rule out MS but these lesions have made me crazy. If its not MS then what else could that be? Recently this psychological pressure started to destroy my daily activities and marriage. I wish i could trust the doctors but everywhere i searched on the net it came out that white matter lesions are ALMOST always a sign of MS...
I'm just sitting back and wait for the symptoms to start and i have already started to pay attention to everything that happens to my body.
It would help me a lot to read your comments and experiences from a similar case or issue...

I am wondering if you got a Lumbar Puncture? From what I have been reading this can usually help the Doctor tell what shows up in your spinal fluid. And you can always go to a new Doctor and start all the searching again. This might uncover something not seen before.

Thanks for your response. Doctors actually told me that since all the MRI's keep having the same outcome (same nonspecific lesions) and also since the spinal cord MRI is clean I dont need to proceed to further investigation. They suggested that if i had MS the outcome of the MRI's would have changed over the 3 years and wouldnt remain the same...
I'm really considering seriously to get an LP but since ALL the doctors assured that the lesions is not MS then im worried putting myself into this trouble...

If your Doctor will order an LP and it would put your mind at ease then you should consider it. If you don't have the test done you will keep on wondering and living with this unrest. But it is all your own choice.

I agree with you. Will discuss this with my doctor and will decide
