Hi there all!
May be someone out there has the answers because I am exhausted. Where do I start? Ok, let me go back to 2011. .I lost my memory completely temporarily maybe for half an hour. I didn't recognise my friend or phone number. At the emergency The doctor said I may have had a TIA.(mini stroke) however now in 2014 I do not believe I did. Firstly all scans since came back clear with every radiologist questioning the reason for the scans as they said arteries were clear and unblocked. Early this year I lost the sight out of my right eye lasting only a short while, there was no headache or memory loss. I went to emergency who admitted me and put my thru questioning and tests. I was told I MAY have had another TIA...however when my local doc called on my hospital records she saw that they were looking for possible MS symptoms. I now get creepy chills that sweep over me.,little muscle twitchings, I've always had falls, stabbing in torso & toes,.. fingertips soo sensative to heat..cant hold toast....... Fuzzy, pressure..... doctors seem disinterested!

If the doctors are disinterested there are things you can do. Your health is the result of what you put in your body. If you put good things in your body you can have good health. Dr. Swank and Dr. Wahls have diets to treat MS. The diets are based on eating real foods such as fruits and vegetables and eliminating the process foods which have various chemicals in them. Four things necessary for good health are a healthy diet, proper sleep, proper exercise and prayer and meditation. These are things you can do. I would suggest getting on a diet of raw fruits and vegetables. Maybe a juicing program so you can get a large amount of the vitamins and minerals in your body in a short time. Make sure you get enough sleep which allows the body to repair itself. Get exercise which increases the blood flow in the body. Practice prayer and meditation which will relieve the stress in your life. I would also have my vitamin D and iodine levels checked. You will not get vitamin D and iodine from your diet and they are necessary for good health.

Ceilavie,
Welcome to the forum. I have a similar story. I was hospitalized due to severe vertigo. In the course of 3 weeks I became so dizzy that I could only wall walk. At that point I was hospitalized. They ran many tests. They did an MRI and found a small spot. I was initially diagnosed with a stroke.
They also ran all these tests and found that my arteries were clear, my cholesterol was good and BP was fine. It took another flare 5 weeks later to get doctors looking in a new direction. I was eventually diagnosed with MS.
See if you can get an appointment with an MS specialist. Bring copies of all tests you have recently had. Good luck and keep us posted!
