Hello to everyone on this Site, I am new here and everyone sounds so helpful and friendly, I do hope someone can help me.
I am on Humira for PS/PA and have been for roughly 4 yrs. I have also had a bad back for some time, vertebrae joined together in 2 spots along with pinched nerve.
Lately I have noticed that much more pain in my back, now more just above tailbone, light-headed at times', forgetful at times'. I know what I want to say but just can not think quick enough. Now my middle finger has
started to go numb as well as baby finger on r/hand. Sorry I also have Spondylitis in my back.
I do know that Humira has many side effects and MS is one of them. I have to say after the first 2 injections my Psoriasis cleared, I was amazed considering I could not even touch my head w/o blood being on my fingers'. Yes it was really bad. Even the Derm. was amazed at how quick it worked. As I am typing, I am guessing with my middle finger, my mid part of my back right now feels like someone jabbing.
Also lately I have been getting this real burning sensation around my shoulders', once at my thigh. I'm sorry for writing so much but I am getting to the point of losing it. I told my Physician about
the Spondylitis along with Fibro. Honestly I could probably fill a half a page listing all of my issue's. I have already been to a Neurologist Surgeon who said he could operate on my back however, this is a scary issue with me. Hubby has had 2 surgeries (didn't work) now he can hardly walk. His brother (R.I.P) had 3 back surgeries (nothing) and they only give you a 50% chance. I just do not know what to do anymore. I can not walk far, my knees' give out on me. If I do not get a cart from the store I can not make it from one end to the other. Physician has me on Pain Meds' but really they only cut the icing on the cake but not the cake. I am so tired all of the time. If anyone can help me I would be so very greatful!! Talking with my Physician now is like talking to the wall!!
