MS Shivering after injection

Hi. I started taking Copazone in Nov 2016 and all was well. I have started severe shivering after the injections. It has started since temps got hot and a/c is on. I have turned off a/c about 1 hr before shot, wear sweat pants and sweatshirt after injection. I still shiver for about 45 min. After it ends, I need to make sure to change out of sweats as I get too warm. How do others deal w/ this? Thank you.

Snmiller,

Im sorry to hear you are having such a horrible time with your copaxone injections. You need to notify both your neurologist and Shared Solutions. This doesn't seem at all acceptable or typical. I've been taking copaxone for going on 10 years and I've never shivered after an injection. Best of luck to you. Keep us posted.

I took Copaxone your years before this side effect kicked in. My teeth would clack together and I rolled up in the fetal position for about 30 minutes. I finally stopped taking it with my doctor's permission. She never offered any other meds since she thought I had reached the SPMS stage.
