I had an MRI done last week. My neurologist wanted to rule out MS due to facial numbness, stumbling on words (that is what he calls it) I often have trouble mixing words up especially if the sound close, dizziness, numbness in hands and feet, decreased sensation to cold, & much more. But what started me on the road to the neurologist is I have a sore spot on the left side of my head. It is tender most of the time. It aggravates it to brush my hair or wash it. It gives me eye pain. I have blurry vision and often bite my tongue on the left side when I talk. The radiology tech said results would post to my electronic medical chart around 12 hours later. I read it and was disappointed it didn't rule it out. It said I have 4-5 white matter lesions in the periventricular and subcortical areas of the brain scattered bilaterally. The radiologist could not rule out demyelinating diseases to correlate clinically. He also said there was a sharp differentiation in the gray-white matter. I see my neurologist on Tuesday, I am curious as to what everyone thinks. This is a new road for me. Thanks for any advice or opinions.
