MRI results, help would be great :)

I used to be on this MS forum and then after getting diagnosed with Lyme, stopped really thinking my symptoms were MS. My neurologist isnt convinced yet. i have a follow up to discuss these results soon, just waiting on the nurse to call to schedule. any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I did post this in my Lyme forum, but I am assuming most wont be familiar with MRI results. I was hoping that we would finally, after 5 years of testing, be able to take MS off the table, but then i got these results and am just really not sure what is going on at all. Multiple dr's have discussed MS over the years, but there was never evidence in my MRI's to support it. I also had a lumbar puncture that came back normal, except the correlating bloodwork showed "Immunifixation serum: polyclonal gammapothy igm, lambda and kappa typing increased", no clue what that is either.

1. Scattered tiny foci of signal abnormality in the bilateral cerebral white matter, predominantly subcortical in location.

2. Low-lying cerebellar tonsils with pointed configuration, resulting in crowding at the craniocervical junction. Findings are in keeping with a Chiari I deformity. No hydrocephalus. No syrinx in the visualized upper cervical cord.
There are scattered tiny foci of T2/FLAIR hyperintensity in the bilateral cerebral white matter, predominantly within the subcortical white matter, nonspecific. These are best appreciated on the sagittal FLAIR images (e.g. images 6-8, 11, and 22, series 8).

None of the lesions demonstrate associated diffusion restriction or contrast enhancement. No infratentorial lesions are identified.

No evidence of acute ischemia, intracranial hemorrhage, extra-axial collection, mass effect, or midline shift.

Several tonsils are low-lying, terminating 7-8 mm beneath the foramen magnum with slightly pointed configuration and resulting in mild crowding at the craniocervical junction, in keeping with a Chiari I deformity. No syrinx in the partially visualized
upper cervical cord.

Ventricles and sulci are normal as to size, shape, and configuration. Basal cisterns are patent.
Major intracranial flow voids appear patent. No definite abnormality in the orbits. Scattered mild mucosal thickening in the paranasal sinuses. Mastoid air cells are clear.


any help would be appreciated for my anxious, worrying mind.

Infectious disease decided it is the Lyme that are causing the lesions. i have a plethora of symptoms, it just drives me crazy. Numbness, dizziness, my legs and arms are week, major cognitive issues, speech and memory mostly...just a lot.
