I have very bad pains around my head, I have spoke to my nurse about this in the past but she says it's not really pains she just thinks its because I no its in my head ! I actually (think) can feel lumps it's seems much worst at night & has been getting unbearable lately I lie there crying holding my head, has anyone had anything like this or is it in my head ? Hi Jane,

I have been diagnosed for 32 years with symptoms going back to childhood.

I have never experienced what you have described. I do know it is impossible to physically feel lesions (assuming that is what you mean by lumps?)

I would suggest having your Neurologist evaluate and possibly prescribe some medication for the pain.

I have been dx since 2001. And yes, I have sharp pains in my head all the time. My neuro told me a lot of patients have this. My MRI's don't show anything except the usual lesions. No masses etc. But it still scares me and worries me. Some people call them "ice pick" headaches. They are not really headaches in my case... just pains.
