Tingling in upper left thigh? Phantom Cellphone?

Hi I have ulcerative colitis so I have frequented these forums before in the past. For 3 weeks now I have been having some strange tingling in my upper left thigh. Initially it was more intermittent now its chronic all day every day sort of thing. At the beginning the sensation was more severe, I reached for my cell phone a couple times only to discover there as no phone there. Now it's like a low frequency tingling, almost like a bubbling sensation. It's not painful but annoying. I am not really feeling any other symptoms. I have read about internal tremors, as I cannot feel it. Is this a possibility? I have been playing a lot of basketball lately but days of rest even upwards of 3 days doesn't seem to help either does ice.

Of coarse looking at google immediately pointed me in this direction. Done deal no other explanation. Has anyone else experienced this symptom?

Unfortunately, Multiple Sclerosis cannot be diagnosed based on symptoms alone. Many conditions, medication side effects, vitamin/mineral deficiencies and mental health problems can cause symptoms similar to Multiple Sclerosis.

If you are concerned about having MS you would need to see a Neurologist and go through testing to rule in/out all other possible causes for your symptoms, and testing that would indicate MS as a possibility. I deal with tingling/vibrations/buzzing sensations. However, there is no symptom exclusive to MS. These symptoms can be caused by any number of reasons.
