shocks, tingles and soreness

I haven't had the soreness following any shock or numbness, but do have tender places at times. The cold/hot thing tho...that i can relate to. Hands, feet, whatever is cold is COLD....in hot water it stays cold. Not to the touch, but my feeling and not all the time. I hope u bring this up to u'r neuro when u visit him/her next. Maybe they can offer some help with it all. I hope u'r doin well and things are easing up for u. Let us know how this progresses.

My hubby gets shock sensations, he says it feels like being electrocuted. The neuro says it's a misfire of nerves. He has numbness and soreness too but it's unclear if it's actually related to the shock itself.

The hot/cold thing is a sensory problem that sometimes occurs. For him hot feels cold and cold stings, it's the only way he can tell the difference. Please be careful that you don't scald yourself, and test water temperature with an uneffected part of the body to be safe.

I get the shock sensations too that feel like I'm being electrocuted (good analogy Kimber ).  Since I have been on Lyrica though most of that has stopped.  I dont have any feeling in my right hand or right leg but on the left side I cant gauge the different temperatures of heat.  So, I have to be careful that I dont burn myself as I have many times by grabbing a pot off the stove or something out of the microwave that is too hot and getting burned.  Cold things to me feel like they burn also...so yeah it is really weird.  Take care everyone.
