How do tremors effect you?

Hi Everyone,

   I was wondering how you are effected by tremors. I had a strange thing happen to me this morning about 5:15am. I was not asleep yet, but I had to get up to go to the bathroom and get something to drink. I had a dule headache that started about 30 minutes before this. When I came back to bed, I was sitting on the side of the bed and I just started shaking all over and couldn't stop. All the muscles in my body were jumping, from head to toe. My lower back started hurting about half way through this spell and has been hurting all day.  This lasted for about 15 minutes, I guess and just stopped, but I did have some twitches after that and have been light-headed and gittery all day today.

  Some of you already know that I had some testing for MS last year. I just started back having seizures about 3 weeks ago, but not bad yet. I had an MRI on friday, I go to UAB on tuesday to see a Neurologist and have an EEG done.

  Thank you for any replys. I was just curious if this is a typical MS symptom or could be something else. I have read about tremors in part of the body, but didn't know about it effecting the whole body.

So sorry to hear you are having seizures again and please let us know what you find out about the tests you are having done.

Mike's tremors usually occur in his hands and arms when he is reaching for something and I believe this is the most common form of tremor in MS. There is another kind of tremor called postural tremors that usually occur when sitting or standing but not when lying down and can effect more parts of the body than the type Mike has.

Whatever is causing them I do hope you get some answers soon and start to feeling better.
