Hey, I'm real good at diagnosing over the computer! Just ask my detractors!!
Serious, now: I think it's always a good idea, particularly when you're relatively newly diagnosed, to call your doctor's office and at least report new symptoms, or a particularly troublesome flare-up of "old" symptoms. He may or may not want to have you come in...but at least it should be noted in your records that you're having a problem.
Over time, you'll learn how MS is specifically affecting you, and what external influences will specifically affect you. Like - -it's way hot today, and I had to be out shopping for groceries. A 20 minute ride to the grocery store -- and 20 minutes back -- and I've got this awful back and shoulder spasm. Now I know it's related to the MS, know it's related to being overheated, and it'll pass. In the meantime, it's real painful, and annoying. Should I call my doctor?
Well..if I were newly diagnosed, and this was the first time, or first few times it happened -- I'd likely call, and report it. Now I just grouse about it, wince when I have to move, and hope it'll go away.
As for the vision thing -- sometimes that'll continue to clear up, over a period of months. But unfortunately sometimes it won't. Or, like me -- when I get overheated, and/or overtired, and/or..sometimes, "just because", my vision will get blurry, and I'll describe it as "my eyes have gone wonky". Generally it'll clear up, but sometimes it takes several days, or a week. Again, if I were newly diagnosed, I'd be calling. But now, I just sort of let it ride.
