I have related to many of the posts from the last two days here. I got my cervical MRI results last month and was then referred to a neurosurgeon. My cervical MRI showed no lesions, but I do have two disc protrusions and one bulge. According to the neurosurgeon no surgery necessary at this point maybe in 10-15 years IF it continues to worsen. No pressure is on my spinal cord. According to the neurosurgeon, my symptoms are not stemming from these protrusions. He has referred me to a Ear, Nose and Throat specialist to rule out any inner problem. And has also ordered a MRA of the arteries in my neck and veins in my brain. I have had dizziness, weakness, balance disorder, and fatigue since 1994. I have seen 3 different neuro docs, two different Ear, Nose and Throat specialists, a neurosurgeon, a allergy doctor. I have had two brain MRI, both normal, and normal thoracic spine MRI. My eye doctor see's nothing abnormal with my optic nerves. Not one doctor can give me any clue as to what is going on. Although, I have found it strange that I have not had ONE blood test done....that is my next step, I am going to request blood work. The most recent neuro MD stated that after having the symptoms off and on since 1994 and still having no lesions, no bowel or bladder problems and no visual problems, he doesn't think that it is MS. Well fine, if not, what is it I ask. My answer is "I don't know." Which is really assuring to hear from an MD. Anyway, to everyone else in the same boat I am, you are not alone by far. And like you, I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. I hate telling my 5 year old that I cannot take her for a walk around the block because mommie might not make it. But I keep on pushing myself everyday and continue on doing what I can when I can, I am sure like the rest of you.
Everyone take care.... I wish everyone a good day.
