Eos in bloodwork.. Please help....

Hello Im new and I was DX w/ MS in May of this year 2006. I am on Avonex and I am also a Diabetic. This was not easy fo rme to take, but Im here.
I just recieved my labs back and forun my Eos level is a lil elevated, Would anyone know if this has anything to do with MS?

I think you're going to have to call your doctor about this -- **not that there is a problem** but a detailed question like this is difficult for us to answer...none of us are doctors here. Given your complicated situation (both MS and Diabetes), you should ask him these kinds of quesitons.

Hi Tiramisu,

Welcome! The most common reason for elevated eos levels is allergies to my knowledge but there are other causes for it as well. Have you discussed the results with your doc yet? I hope your diabetes is under control and you are doing well on the Avonex. Feel free to ask questions or vent anytime, we'll do what we can to help

I just wanted to say welcome to the forum! I was diagnosed in April of this year and have found this site to be very helpful. I feel very fortunate to have found it and such a great group of people.
