Hello...
Good news.. no one seems to have a problem with me decreasing to 6 hour shifts indefinitely, as long as I get a letter from the neuro which is on it's way. My long term disability coverage (which should be approved anytime now) will also top me up to 100% of my wages for the next two years.
Not so good news... I'm a bit bummed at the moment because just a few weeks ago I was feeling so good. I had so much more energy and even said to myself "enjoy this, you never know how long it will last". Now I'm just pooped and I'm trying not to let it get me down.
The nurse said the neuro may want to see me as this is my 5th relapse since being diagnosed in April, and maybe the Betaseron isn't working. Thankfully no major debilitating flare ups have occurred, and I gotta think the Betaseron is doing something to help with that. I would be very interested to see what my MRI would look like now if she orders one.
I am so very thankful I can keep working for now as I really enjoy it and need the distraction. I'm very fortunate to have found the perfect sit-down interesting job before all this happened, and I have THE best coworkers.
I'm also so glad to have found this forum.. you guys are the best. Hope everyone managing okay.
Shar
