Hi Everyone,
Iam back from the MS clinic in Halifax. The doctor has suggested that rather than go on the usual
Meds for MS, he suggested that I try Lamotrigine (an epilepy medication that is suppose to work on the electrical impulses in the brain and central nervous system) that they are using for MS patients to help with the nerve pain, mood swings, ( I would like to get somewhat back to my happy go lucky self !) and an ability to concentrate and remember, as my short term memory is the pits. Much of this may be due to me going through the stress of a divorce after 28 years of marriage. Can't put it all down to MS. Does anyone know of anyone taking these meds? Thanks to all of you that can help me. Dale
