Most of the individuals that we take care of have a daily sheet called "Data Cards". It has every waking hour listed and we record what happens in each hour. If anything is being tracked we also record that data. Like, hitting self, screaming, aggressiveness and the such.

Justin threatens to make one for me so that he can track my symptoms! I often wonder what my data card would look like. I imagine I would have dropping things, resting on the couch, and bouncing into walls.

What would yours look like?

wow - good one Lysha!  What a great thought. My card would probably have hitting self, screaming and aggressiveness.  Would I fit in at your home?  Let me know when I can move in and we can bounce off the walls together.  That Justin is a clever one.

I am very interested in learning your wall bouncing techniques. I currently use a slamming into walls approach, but I would love to expand my skill set. tongue

Lets see...mine would say "running into walls,falling over/tripping on nothing,lack of motivation"...I think I will need more cards

What my emotional chart would read:

Morning: alarm, confusion, "is this really happening again?, Do I really feel this way? an over-all "Groundhogs Day" effect.

morning-noon: bumble around, get frustrated why I can't remember anything, beat myself up for awhile and then, "oh, yeah" aaaahh, acceptance.

remainder of day: talking to myself - "think positive, stay positive" "this is in your head, no it's not!" "I'm going to die for sure" "I'm going to beat this for sure" and a whole cacophony of voices of friends, nosey neighbors, doctors, neigh-sayers and alarmists alike.

nightime: consider treatment for multiple personality disorder, then get really grateful for what I have and thank God.

I am glad you had fun with this!

Gretchen, we are looking to have another person live with us. If you move to kansas, I think we could serve you! hahaha

Sunny, I'll give you lessons some time. Maybe it could be paid training. lol

Nicole, we don't give extra cards just more columns! I hope someone is there to catch you when you fall. A gait belt might help, just kidding.

Angie, haha with the multiple personality! We could definitely serve you! When can you move in?

This has been fun and laughter is the best medicine!
