I have picked up hand tremors. Not all the time, but enough to make me

mad as heck when I am trying to take pictures of my grandkids or the beautiful

country side.

 

I have bought a video camera and a DSLR with stablizers in them, in hopes that it

may help a bit. My last child is getting married in Hawaii next year and I am trying

to plan for long plane rides, stamina problems, and taking pictures.

 

However, I would like to hear from the forum if they take some kind of medicine for this,

and the results or reactions. I have read up on some, but I would like real life advice.

Hi dog -

I don't know if this may help, but I have been on neurontin for the last month and within about a week of taking it (200 mg 2X's day + 300 mg once day) my hand tremors have almost gone away, my lower jaw tremors have gotten better but not completely gone and the leg tremors are gone.  I know one side effect of neurontin IS tremors, but it worked just the opposite on me.

Awww...i'm so sorry!! This stinks for u and i'm hoping and praying that it goes away for u. I haven't really had any prob with tremors. I do occasionally have a tremble, but nothing i'd need any meds for, so don't know anything that'd be helpful. Maybe on the camera situation tho, try a tripod?? Of course u can use the full size as well as table top. Congratulations to u'r daughter!!...and a wedding Hawaii...how nice! I hope it all goes well for u all and the plane ride as well as other activities aren't too much for u. Plan rests for u'rself in u'r daily activities and hopefully that'll head off the worst of the fatigue probs. I"m sorry i can't offer any real help, but wanted to just let u know i'm thinking of u and glad to see u here again too. We've missed u! ;)
