Are you sure it is in your eye or caused by what they refer to to as trigeminal nerve pain. It strikes or can strike lightning fast and sometimes can appear to be in your eye area as it travels from your temple area down. You may just feel it in your eye area only. It can be very common in some people with MS. Please check with an opthamologist and or your neuro doctor. Do you have an MS clinic that you can call and speak to an MS nurse(sometimes male sometimes female) who deal only with MS patients. They have been a Godsend to me since I was referred in January of this year. Although most neurogists are very knowledgable they all have their own areas of expertise. The treatment of MS is changing as fast as the disease itself. Good luck and let us know what you find out. However please don't just let it go as sometimes symptoms can be our only way of telling the professionals what is going on. Good luck madlou. Dale
