Hi all! Sorry I haven't posted in so long but have recently moved and didn't have access to a computer for about a week.  Plus I have a new job that is full-time.  I love it.

 

So anyway, since about Wed I've been having this awful pain at the base of my headand the top of my neck.  It's sort of under my ear and tothe left just a little.  It hurts all the time but especially when I turn my head or drop my head back.  The pain is in my muscles.  Lyrica helpsbut I have to take acetominophen between times.  Could this be neuropathic pain, or cuold itbe that my neck has finally after all these years got tired of holding my big head up.  I really do have a big head.  It's hard to find a hat to fit.

Hi Sheila,

 

    Congratulations on all the new and wonderful things going on for you right now!! I hope you've had a chance to rest up with all that moving, that's an exhausting process.  From what you are describing, it sounds like some kind of spasm issue in your neck.  Could be spasticity from the MS, or you might have just strained those muscles somehow.  I hope it gets better here in the next few days.  Have you tried heat on the area?  Does that help at all?

Well,I haven't tried heat on it, but I took my clothes tp the laundry room.  It was so hot I didn't think I'd make it back over.  Does that count? 

Thank u for the well-wishes.I wasn't really doing a lot of resting before but I don't think I have a choice now.  I gotta work tomorrow and right now I can hardly move.  Very tired.  Think I have to lay down for a while.
