I have posted on here once before and everybody was so nice so I wanted to first say thank you.  Now I have a quesiton....

As far as the MS Hug goes, sometimes it feels like somebody is squeezing my toes.  Sometimes it's just one toe others it's two, three, four, or all on one foot.  Also, I was at dinner saturday and was wearing a shirt that tied in the back.  In the middle of dinner it felt like the shirt was tied really tight so I excused myself so I could adjust and it actually had come untied...meaning that I felt like there was something really tight around my back.  Does any of this sound familar? 

I have one more quesiton...does anybody have issues with their tongue?  Like twitching or numbness?  It's very odd and scary especially beccause I've never heard of the twitching in MS!!!

Glad to see u again! As for the MS Hug, i'm not sure if it can just be one sided...like u'r chest or u'r back...but the squeezing u describe could be the Hug as per u'r description. I had a really tight, squeezing on my chest that was really painful one time..back when all my symptoms were pretty strong..and my doc didn't feel it was the Hug...so there u go. I'm sure others here will know more about this than me and will be along soon to offer their input.

I do get numbness on my toes and fingers and various other places. It can be all or only one or a few of my fingers or toes. It's pretty odd, but just one of those sensory things u may be dealing with. The twitching...YES it can be part of MS. I'm not dx'd with ms, but have had plenty of twitching in the last year and a half. Yes, my tongue too. Numbness and twitching pretty much anywhere. I'd prob write it down if it's a new symptom for u and just mention it to the doc, but most likely another of those sensory things we just have to live with. I am new to this site too, but have found a wealth of information, and that I'm not crazy.  When I get the MS hug, I esplain that it feels like someone wrapped me too tight in an ache bandage.  It happens alot to my lower legs.

I don't get tongue twitching or numbness, thank God, because I talk too much, and/or eat too much HAHA!  But when I am having muscle spasms, the affected area will twitch and the muscle can actually be seen twitching.  This is new for me, so I have to bring it up at my next visit.
