MS Treatment Chinese Medicine and Accupunture with Best bet Diet

I am a MS from India diagonised in 1997. Had 6 RR attacks over these years and was lucky to get out almost clean everytime . Although IV steroids were taken everytime. Last may 2006 another relapse and steroids but this time 20 % problems remained.

My first diagnosis was made in September 1997 with Optic Neuritis. Last MRI Done on 24th may 2006 where new lesions appeared in brainI HAVE TAKEN BY INTRVENOUS STEROIDS, MEHTYL PREDNISOLONE 1g X 5 DAYS LAST may as the only treatment available with DOCTOR was to take another dose of the steroids IVMP Methyl prednisolone.

I have been trying accupunture since last 6 months which is helping me.

Present problems since MAY 2006

· Fatigue & Weakness in legs & balance problem while walking
· Stiffness in legs, feet would feel stiff and could not move if walked over one
kilometer, only could walk by pulling my feet.
· Involuntary Jerks in legs
· Difficulty in standing for long,

I had a feeling that Chinese herbal medicine and accupunture could help in this disease.There was limited scope for this in India so I have visited China in Beijing where after consulting few hospitals, I started taking treatment from one of the doctors.

Present treatment

I could locate a good accupunture doctor in my home city in India who is practicing this for 2 decades. So the treatment I am taking chinese hebal medicine which I order and get from china and accupunture which was initially 5 times a week for 1 month then now continuing twice weekly contnuing for last 6 months.

I brought chinese herbal medicines from there. This was supplemented with Accupunture therapy 4 times a week. I am feeling 80 % better now with most of symptoms under control, only some tremors and off course fatigue after walking for long. 

I AM OTHER WISE ACTIVE  IN MY BUSINESS WITH THE GRACE OF GOD.

HAS  ANY ONE TRIED THIS CHINESE MEDICINE AND ACCUPUNTURE . PLS SHARE THEIR EXPERIANCES

I was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of MS back in 1998 and I turned to Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture in a big way, so much so that I actually trained as a Chinese Medical practitioner and after a few years I became the Chairman of the Acupuncture Council of Ireland. My thinking was, if I'm being told that I will probably be in a wheelchair within 24 months I'd better grab as much knowledge of this system of Medicine as quickly as I can.

When you look into Chinese Medicine properly you'll see that there isn't a simple Chinese Medical equivalent of MS. Different people with MS can have a completely different Chinese Medical diagnosis' and consequently different Chinese medical treatment approaches. I'd also say that because Chinese Medicine looks at illness and lifestyle in a completely holistic way it helped me to identify some of the reasons why I become ill. Once I addressed these lifestyle, dietary and behavioural issues my body quickly started to feel better.

Its now 13 years since I was diagnosed and I am completely symptom free and play tennis 4 or 5 times a week. I wrote about my particular approach in a book called The Healing Code which was published by Hodder in 2006. I don't want folks to think I'm plugging my book.....at this stage you'd find it in the library or pick it up from Amazon.co.uk very cheaply.

Definitely look into how Chinese Medicine can help you......but take the time to find out for yourself what Chinese Medicine would say about YOUR specific condition. Ask the practitioner to explain how and why you got sick....and if they can't explain it, or simply say they don't know....then get another practitioner. When they give you a Chinese Medical diagnosis take a note of what that is.....then research it and see if it makes sense.
