I am sorry you are going through this.
Since you do not seem to filt all the diagnostic criteria for MS as per your Dr, and have not gotten a dx yet I suggest you look at some other possibilities in the meantime. Since it may be helpful to you, I will share my story with you. I was dx with MS for several years "atypical" and not the relapse remitting presentation that is more common in the beginning. I found out 6 years later I had lyme disease, and recently digging back into my previous tests I found ONE that confirmed this. The many neuros I saw (5+) missed this and when I brought up lyme as a possibility all those years they totally blew me off. I have since tested CDC positive for lyme, have herxes with treatment, etc. I have it and had it back then too. Unfortunately untreated lyme has degenerated my spine and walking is difficult. I tell you this because lyme is serious and the medical community is not paying attention to this disease. I know many people who have lyme and are disabled and others who have multiple health problems inc urological, vision, muscle-skeletal, heart, cognitive and many other problems.
If you do research you will see lyme is controversal. Look at both sides. I can tell you chronic lyme exists and IF you have it and do not treat it sufficiently you could have problems.
There is a short clip of a documentary that is being made about lyme at www.lymediseasefilm.com.
Best of luck to you in your search for answers. You can email me if you have any questions.
