Hey guys! It's been a while... but I got remarried over the summer and have been busy. Remember my worries over infertility? Well they were for naught since I am now 14 weeks preggers! Yay me!
Hard part is that because of my lack of intestines I have been in ALOT of abdominal pain, and I was also diagnosed with malabsorption since stuff passes through so quick. I mean I swallow my prenatal vits and then get to visit with them again, whole, in the toilet like a half hour later....
I am on bed rest and the docs are all freaking out since none of them have delivered a post tc patient before without a colostomy. One of them wants to give me a temp stoma to relieve pressure when the baby gets bigger... dunno how I think about that.
Anyway.... does anyone have any advice? I don't know if any of you have had babies post surgery, but I would certainly welcome any tips you might have for getting through this... I am totally wiped out all the time and feel awful, but that is balanced by my total excitement.
So... hope to hear from ya... yall have a great day!
