Did anyone have their surgert at University of Chicago Hospitals and if so, who was their surgeon? Thanks! I think I'm allowed to ask this question. If not sorry!!!

You would get a lot more response to this question if you posted it at www.j-pouch.org That site has over 6000 members whom have had colon surgery.

Lew,
My surgeon was Dr Hurst at University of Chicago. I also saw Dr Fichera while my doc was out of town, both are supposed to be very good.
