i wonder if i am getting a hernia or have one near my belly button it is getting more and more painful............anyone have this.............. and how did they fix it.

I've had three hernias; inguinal, femoral, and incisional (also known as a ventral). To fix them, they just go in and push your intestines back in and then cover the defect with mesh to hold things in place.

If youve just had surgery.. it might just be swelling from where theyve just cut your abdominal muscles apart.. and now theyre healing and will swell..
My scar goes around my belly button.. and after my second op that really hurt because of the stitches and swelling..
But just to put your mind at ease go and see your practice nurse at your local doctors surgery and they should be able to help =)
